look who was here this past weekend visiting from san francisco. brian! he’s like one of the mostest party people i know. for example we’ve floated down russian river with like 50 people or had a 100+ people halloween house (!) party.
this time, we hung out on the east coast instead. in central park!
his sister christina was there too, and their friend lexi.
the air was perfectly november crispy, it was really central park FALL, and we couldn’t not be fascinated by the huge soap bubbles that this guy made.
colors, right??? november has been really pretty in new york so far.
i was sooo tired and hungover this day, but long slow walks and fresh air was just what i needed.
we walked down to the fountain at the little lake.
and brian posed super casually in front of it.
when christina was about to take a picture of me in front of it, he jumped out of nowhere and tried to throw me in!!!!!! gah
we walked along the water where gondoliers and rowing boats were gliding by, and passed the boat house.
yours truly, a tired saturday like this one. i had gone out with colleagues the day before. crazy night, but fun. and central park plus coffee heals everything.
and then we took cheesy pictures on a big rock until we had more important things to do.
the trump protest! it was located on fifth avenue right by the trump tower. ew.
so we stayed until we got really cold and tried to do our part with some yelling (and crying </3)
tbh good and meaningful way to end this very chill day. never be silent about what’s wrong in the world.
and thanks for stopping by new york, brian!
