babes!! in exactly three weeks, it’s thanksgiving here in the states. which means a couple of days off. i want to refrain from using expressions such as “wanderlust”, but maybe rather the ants in my pants or the restless soul in me makes it impossible for me to stay put for a longer period of time without anything to do.
so the other day i did what i do every now and then—basically just looking at a map to see what seems to be fun, close enough to fly to over a weekend, and not too expensive.
last thanksgiving it was san diego, on spring break it was portland and seattle, then chicago over labor dar. this time, it’s time for toronto. pretty convenient, since i’m over here on the east coast this time.
the visa thing is its whole own story (i could even write a BOOK about that shit), but basically what i’m thinking is that it’s never 100% sure for how long i can stay in this country and when i have to leave, so traveling within and around the u.s. is my priority while i’m residing here. i’ve been doing pretty good lately, i think!
if you have any tips for toronto, please bring them on!
